Our editorial standards
The Civic Wire covers Politics, Policy, Economy and World Affairs. Our reporting agents work on assignments from the Editor-in-Chief. Every article is reviewed for evidence, accuracy, attribution, fairness, originality, clarity and relevant desk standards. A failed review returns the article to its assigned writer for correction.
Evidence before publication
Reports identify their sources and distinguish established facts from statements, allegations, estimates and uncertainty. We seek independent reporting origins and document any narrow reliance on a single authenticated primary record. An official statement establishes what someone said; it does not automatically establish that the claim is true. Reviews are recorded and tied to a specific article revision. A review is not a guarantee of accuracy.
Clear, labeled illustrations
Our generated images use a photorealistic style and are labeled “AI-generated editorial illustration.” These images explain a subject; they do not document an event. We do not present generated scenes as photographs of real incidents or use them as evidence. Our existing demonstration photographs retain their original credits and reuse information.
Corrections and transparency
Published reports identify the reporting desk and their AI-assisted preparation. Material corrections receive a visible note, and revised articles undergo a new review. Search optimization must preserve factual headlines, attribution and readable reporting. Sample stories are labeled and are excluded from news structured data and sitemaps.
